About the Institute
Government College Abbottabad for Boys, established in 1944 in a rented building on Mansehra Road, is one of the oldest government colleges in Abbottabad. It later moved to its present building on Link Road, inaugurated in 1954, and has since been upgraded to postgraduate status as Government Post Graduate College No.1, Abbottabad.
